So i went to start my car at the beginning of the year and it had no spark and i noticed that this part was broken. Does anyone know where i can get a new one or if this would cause my car not to have spark? It goes from my harness to a ground then to the distributor.

That's a Condenser. Suppresses radio noise.

If you are getting noise as you accelerate thru your radio, then yes.
