Friend has a 84 5speed Z. He also has a 87 5speed Z. He wants to put the 87 trans into the 84,says he hear the 87 trans can take more power and abuse. Is that true? Also well the 87 trans fit (line up) Ok in the 84? Also is there a difference in the drive shafts as fas as length? If anyone has done this swap or any info I can give to him please let me know. For my information what trans is in a 84 and in a 87. I believe that both cars are N/A's. Thanks for any help Ken
