Would anyone know what options I have when looking for a new exhaust setup on my 86 300ZR? It has the VG30de like the z32 N/A but mine is single pipe so I am stumped currently. If I have time I want to lift her tomorrow and get some pics of the current layout etc none currently available.

Does your exhaust actually need replacing?

'cause if you're trying to get a few extra HP NA you need to do the headers, just doing the cat back won`t give you anything but a different sound. Good news is there's probably still lots of performance headers available for VG30DEs, bad news is I dunno how much info is out there for which ones might fit in a 300ZR. You might want to drop Motorsport Auto a line and see if they can help you out.

If your exhaust is just rusted out or the cat`s clogged or whatever, I'm pretty sure that you would be better off just going to an exhaust shop in your town and having them weld you up something.
