Does anyone know what this piece is and what it does? I noticed it after i removed my radiator. it was just dangling. It looks like its part of the main harness in the front of the engine bay thanks in advance

That's the sensor for the radiator overflow bottle. It turns the pantheon light on when the overflow bottle is low on coolant.
