I want to do a full LED lighting conversion, minus the analog gauges. Anyone know which bulbs I need to order from superbrightleds.com? I want to do the dome light, pod gauges(Oil,Volts), Digital Climate Control Unit, Map Lights, Glovebox Light, Light under the glovebox etc..... I can find lots of threads about the subject but nothing stating what sizes to get, and a ton of dead links

Hit up edwin86z. He hooked me up with some LED bulbs and I'm sure he will be able to do the same for you or provide you with list of recommended bulbs.

Any LED's can be used since you will be using dropping resistors and wiring them in parallel. However many inexpensive LED's are not bright enough for the task. I used the 1/2 watt and 1 watt LED's from E-Bay to do mine. When you get ready to install them it's advisable to have a 12V source available (Battery) to use while retrofitting them so that you can actually view how the results will look. LED's do not have the light dispersion characteristics of incandescent bulbs- they are very directional. You can lightly sand down the tips of the LED's to get really nice light dispersion. There's a thread here on reverse glow gauges that would be worth your time to read. I will be glad to help out any way that I can. Good Luck.

I really need to get at this on the Shiro. Just looking to do the foot lights, map light and license plate lights. Gives the car a bit more modern flare without being too dramatic.

I didn't do any of that, BTW. I soldered my own stuff together and wasted time/money. There wasn't anything off the shelf at the time.

Yes, that was a sorry ass description on my part.
Each BRANCH of LEDs w/ dropping resistor (If necesasary) will be wired together in series. Then, all branches of the circuit are wired together in parallel for 12V. Thank You for pointing that out.
