I actually really like the 87 tails. First glance you think they're ugly, then you realize it's just not "balanced". Change up the rear bumper or add a spoiler and it evens out pretty good (IMO).

I can't keep them all, otherwise I would have about 9 Kouki turbo cars. I liked the white 89T but it needed work and I didn't have the money to put into it and the black 89T. The new owner is a member here.

Few things, what kind of phone are you using? My smartphone can still access the image buttons. Secondly, many of those lips are just modified TBO lips.
I will say however that Kouki tail lights would look better if they were completely red.

Using a G2 old phone, but I think it's mostly the poor coverage where I am, page only half loads sometimes. The first car, little k is a complete custom front bumper, and the back has a custom rear diffuser with R32 rear spoiler, second car, the silver one is a proudear front end, white is bennedict which is an RX-7 front bumper and last one is similar to a TBO but comes out a bit further and thought that pic soesn't show it well has a couple harder angles on the lower edge, I know for a while in japan they would use lips then cut and sand to make them look more like the TBO once it was no longer around.

I have no desire for that ugly front end....the CLSD is only good when rebuilt/upgraded, might as well buy a KaaZ for the cost people want for them…Z32 30As are better. The tension rods are meh and only good for the upgradeability, and the early ECUs are better for making the most power due to less aggressive timing maps which limit you from pushing the turbos limits, hence why all of the ~250+whp on stock ECU/fuel cars are running the early ECUs. I rest my case.

People do pay too much for them. But that doesn't instantly make their performance suck.

Yes I would rather have a KaaZ, Cusco, or Tomei.
But an OEM CLSD is still a great diff compared to the other OEM options.
In other news. I took apart my CLSD two days ago. There's nothing wrong with it, except one of the C-clips seemed weak. Which is probably how the axle popped out while driving. :-( So now I gotta put it back together and shit.

So anything better from one to another can be swapped, they are virtually the same the difference that is being talked about from keeping it kouki or zenki being the front end and tail lights and that's all visual. I still stand behind what I said earlier. The tail lights look fine with a few modifications of either a different spoiler (whale tail, tbo, avante etc), tinted, or getting the corners red like the rest of the light.

Love the front bumper, but that fitment is AWFUL. Also, a Datsun decal on a car that is clearly a Nissan? yuck. Got an '84? Rock a Datsun sticker. Later than that? Nissan only. It has always been Nissan… Datsun was the temporary name. I'd put a Nissan sticker on my '68 before I'd do that. At least it is true. The car has Nissan stamps, stickers and logos everywhere already. I dunno, it just bothers me for some reason.

Love that car, hopefully my 86 will look at least something like that someday. Of course, I'm still conflicted between silver (above car), gray (zlover), and Nissan Hot Red (Edicer/Egg) for the color. I'm going to have to do the front end swap, since I already have most of the parts and I tend to like the Kouki look a little bit more.

that's probably one of the only cars that looks good with bumper tits considering how far the spoiler juts out and the colour match.
im surprised there isn't a remake of this spoiler yet. i figured it would have been done before the PB Tweaks spoiler, which doesn't even match the sharp/box-like profile of the z31 :-/

I guess it adds more definition to the rear of the kouki that makes it look nice. A remake of that would've been nice but those who really want that type of spoiler can order the still available Avante rear spoiler.
Close enough to the TBO and gives the rear more definition. I like how the side pieces go forward as well. Still, body color spoiler and body color bumper tits look much better imo.

I've written to Proudear in the past.
They can respond in english .. but communication will take a bit of work.
It's not their main language, so terminology can be a challenge.
But with patience it (successful) communication can be achieved.

True .. it is perhaps the reason Proudear has agreements with RHDjapan to overcome some of the exporting issues/challenges.
Shipping to multiple destinations in one's/two's can be costly. If RHDjapan receives in larger numbers .. overall shipping costs "may" be reduced.
Of course supply-n-demand, logistics and storage of items needs to be accounted for .. inorder for companies like RHDjapan to be in business.
Going from memory .. it isn't like Proudear is manufacturing these items on a daily basis. Most (?) are made to order. Realistically, what successful business will manufacture 100s of airdams, sideskirts, etc .. on the "hope" they will sell? Like Kaminari … they make items "to order" .. so it takes time … unless (by luck) your order reaches them as they are making a run ..

I know your turbo manifolds and most of that setup lives on in an 85t in chicago now and being put to good use and looking to break the 600whp mark. Not sure about the seats on built motor.
