Switch to the turbo iacv? I know you can rewire it to work. I'm just wondering if there are any differences other than the wiring.

it helped me to have one. i couldnt get it to run prior

Just ditch it. Flip the idle set screw upside-down and set the idle with that. Or tighten the throttle cable to where you want the idle.

its needed to pass emissions testing also i believe.
