Hey guys/gals,

I just talked to Alex Millward (amreboot) and he wanted me to let everyone know that he will be taking a absence from the Z scene for a little while. I don't know the details but he said he lost his son Saturday in a tragic accident and to keep his family in your prayers. As most of you would think its hard to deal with the loss of a loved one especially your own kid and he just wants to take a break from social media.

Thank you.

wbnethery3: (2014-10-30 05:42:34)

Wow… will definitely be praying for him and his family.

Z_Karma: (2014-10-30 06:26:47)

oh man. I can't even imagine trying to cope with that kind of loss.

I hope the best as is possible right now for him and his family.

Augustus Maximus: (2014-10-30 10:13:46)

Oh Lord…

les_joey_paul: (2014-10-30 13:21:15)

He'll be in our prayers.

reddzx: (2014-10-30 14:37:53)

Wow, this is something no parent should ever have to go through.

My prayer are with the Millward family

My condolonces.

Reds89: (2014-10-30 15:58:02)

Really saddened to hear of anyone's child passing… prayers up.

Rick88ss: (2014-10-30 16:57:31)

Hang in there. It's gotta be tough

G-E: (2014-10-30 17:40:43)

Someone suggested pass around a card from member to member, but logistically that sounds tough, a better idea might be someone not far from him to organize a large package and we all send in signed stickers to slap onto it…

inqui-Z-tor: (2014-10-30 18:21:09)

This is truly tragic .. My thoughts and prayers for the Millward family ..

reddzx: (2014-10-30 19:13:45)

Jon (Satan) Martin lives close to him.

Spooledup300z: (2014-10-30 20:52:43)

WOW! this is just crazy… This saddens me greatly

My condolences as well. I also live fairly close and can help organize something

Dr. Pepper PhD.: (2014-10-30 23:33:08)

Alex, when you do eventually read this, know that we have you in the backs of our minds.

530zx: (2014-10-31 00:03:36)

Absolutely tragic, My prayers are with the family.

FlyingT: (2014-10-31 00:22:38)

No parent is supposed to bury their own child. I have lost both parents and my brother. I feel your pain. We got your back Alex.

newsieone: (2014-10-31 02:39:09)

My condolences on your loss. As a parent I echo FlyingT's thoughts.

My thoughts are with you and your family.

1986zxt: (2014-10-31 17:04:22)

Life can certainly pass out its share of brutal trials and this is one of those tragic occurrences. My family and I will keep you and yours in our thoughts and prayers in this time of grief and sadness. Hoping you can find strength and healing in the coming days and going forward. This type of loss never goes away but you do change to where it does become bearable. God Bless

Butter: (2014-11-02 02:35:28)

My nightmare. I can't even imagine. I wake up before that point.

My thoughts and prayers are with you dude.

boosted300: (2014-11-03 00:05:18)

thoughts and prayers…

G-E: (2014-11-04 06:56:14)

No worse than all the other truisms people use daliy… but yes I've heard it forever, lots of movies use it

Augustus Maximus: (2014-11-04 09:48:52)

The greatest thing is to go through it, maintain the strength and unity of the family and begin again. I had sister who died when she was about three, some three odd years before I was born. My mother would speak of her from time to time, but she took solice in the rest of us.

turbofedz: (2014-11-04 23:18:46)

Omg hang in there buddy, thoughts an prayers for you an family.

1986zxt: (2014-11-06 14:30:53)

Anybody speak with him? Anything we can do to help/support? Anybody have his street address to send card?

ZEricMZ: (2014-11-06 16:51:37)

I wish the best for Alex and his family. Hoping the coming months go as well as they possibly can in a situation like this for everyone involved with the loss. I would like to be informed if we as a site decide to do anything for Alex. I'm sure the support of his Z family would bring a bit of joy to him and his family.

Parker: (2014-11-06 20:32:04)

I'm very sorry for your loss, Alex. Stay strong. Best wishes to you and your family.

1986zxt: (2014-11-06 20:53:43)

I'm older, 56, and for the last 10 years or so I've attended more funerals, visitations, been present for friends and family dying in hospitals than I ever thought possible. Throughout this time my wife has pointed out to me the importance of showing up to funerals, visitations and hospitals as it is very meaningful to families. This thread of support is nice but any type of direct contact is way better and more meaningful. I am sure someone can get his mailing address. I guarantee 100 cards of sympathy will be appreciated more than 100 posts. I am going to internet stalk and find the address. Hope others can do the same. Thanks

Filipe: (2014-11-07 00:44:02)

I have his address from a shipment I made to him. However, I'm not sure it's proper etiquette to post such information here…I don't want to offend anyone, especially since Alex and I have had our "beef" in the past.

I'm older too…a lil bit younger than you and that might not be a great idea.

reddzx: (2014-11-07 13:08:27)

I have his address if you PM me

I'm 64 and My friends have been dying off for years due to the lifestyle we all used to lead. I'm lucky that my health issues are not worse. I think it's because I didn't drink much alcohol or smoke cigarettes. As a IV drug user though, I have liver disease that could have taken me out years ago like many of my friends. I can't imagine what Alex and his wife might be feeling right now. I pray that they can make it through this as a family and rely on a god of their understanding for strength.

Just turned 59 myself … I was part of the "timid bunch" .. so most of my friends are still around (but I don't see them .. all moved away or life got in the way). But over my "car years" .. I've noted several evolutions of enthusiasts and fads. So far, I've out-lived them all.

I too pray for Alex and his family. I can't imagine the pain they are experiencing. After leaning of this tragedy, I got a hold of my kids and grandkids to tell them I love them. I told them, I may not LIKE them at times .. but I've never stopped LOVING them.

If you got kids/grandkids/nephews/nieces .... no matter how old. Tell 'em you love them.

TWA88T: (2014-11-08 15:20:03)

I don't seem to have his email anymore, but if it's appropriate, post Alex's PayPal address, I would be happy too make a donation to help the family with the associated expenses. Keeping you in our prayers, holding my two boys a little closer today.
