Hey guys, Just wanted to know for those of you swapping your T-5 transmission found in early Zs to the 30a found in the older turbo models 87-89 do you guys also change your electronic speed sensor. Of course this is for those with the digital dash cluster.

So 87-89 is older than 84-86 now? :P They'd be newer. But that aside, you don't need to change any speed sensor. Just screw the speedometer cable/sensor into the drive and be done with it.

I asked a similar question about swapping speedo cables between auto and manual, but it appears it was in the wrong forum?, so it was deleted before I read the replies.
