I was wondering if anyone has been successful in repairing damaged clearcoat … I have seen some video's showing the process of sanding and respraying with 2K spay can clearcoat with pretty good results .

My 1985 blue mist metallic has a two bad areas that I want to do something about but I don't want to make it worse that it is .

Well, it's only going to get worse on it's own, so you would just be slightly expediting the process if it failed [archived image: smile.png]

I have got to do the same with my black 84T where i gave it premature male pattern baldness from a tarp i used last winter when we had record rainfall, but it's all the way down to the primer in spots. The whole T-bar roof probably needs to be resprayed.
