BLITZERKING1: (2017-04-16 22:53:39)

The title pretty much says it all. The past couple of days my 84 turbo's battery has been dying overnight. Sometimes when I go outside the side marker lights will be on seemingly randomly then shut off. I thought it might be the security system so I took off the relays for the security system and it still died overnight. Could it be the headlight stalk possibly? Any ideas would be helpful, thank you

Yeah, take off the column trim and unplug the headlight column switch and observe it for a day or two.

The one in my 84T was doing the same thing and i figured out it was only happening on nights when it was cold.

I swapped out the headlight switch (it was one i tried cleaning the contacts previously) and that fixed it.

Well, I unplugged the headlight switch last night and this morning it fired right up. I'm going to order a used switch off eBay or maybe from a junkyard. Thanks for the help!

Basically, you can use the guts of a new stock 87-90 Sentra switch in the switch housing from your 84T.

I wouldn't spent the money on a used switch.
