I was wondering if anyone knows where the ground is for the temperature sending unit for the cluster, my gauge only works if you shut a door really hard lol ive tried looking on alldata and shopkey and tried poking around but I cant find a ground from that side of the harness.

It's usually the gauge itself that fails.

I replaced the one in my old Shiro 3 times before I got a good one that worked.

Most everyone I've talked to about my temp gauge strongly recommends an aftermarket gauge. I didn't listen and tried to fix my gauge several times.

Still inaccurate and finicky.

I'm now installing an aftermarket gauge. So unless you're hell bent on keeping the original cluster look, just get an aftermarket gauge.
