Hey guys,

So I have an 86 Turbo Z and I just replaced the open diff with an 87 CLSD and swapped my axles for 87 turbo axles. The car runs but when I'm accelerating the wheels don't keep up with the engine. As the engine accelerates the wheels la then catch up. I'm lost and have no clue where to look. Any help is appreciated.

Are you experiencing any noises or smells during acceleration? When accelerating is your speedometer slowly rising & RPM's are climbing rapidly? If so your'e experiencing a slipping clutch. Just as the 2 above me have implied.
