How bad can it be. Give it a shot and post pics when you get them on.

reddzx: (2014-11-16 19:53:50)

Google will take you to a few car forum where they get positive reviews.

floridaZ: (2014-11-18 02:54:08)

Contact them and get the specifics on the spring rate…

dgz32: (2014-11-19 21:02:12)

Don't know much about them in Z31 land—but with the BMW E34 crowd they are very popular. Progressive spring rate with the most drop for that chassis. Def a reputable company.

mammut: (2015-01-26 19:58:54)

does someone have pictures of a z31 with vogtland springs ?

would be intressted how low the car comes with those springs =)

adamvann3: (2015-01-26 20:18:47)

Who cares on how much they lower. Care about what their spring rates are.

mammut: (2015-01-27 09:53:29)

i hope there are not so much lowering the car ! spring rate should be OK

vogtland says lowering the car around f/r 25mm(1inch) and rate is 200/220 lb/in

but i like to see how much the lowering effekt is in real.

adamvann3: (2015-01-27 16:53:02)

Why don't you just by Eibachs? A lot of people have them, they essentially do not lower the car since you are replacing saggy OEM springs with new springs.

Just ensure you are replacing the spring seats, especially in the rear. Old torn or missing springs seats typically account for 1/2 rear sag.

mammut: (2015-01-29 07:49:59)

you mean 1/2 inch ? i got more than 1,5inch rar sag,

i will see the spring seats if they are good or not and ofcourse will replace them =)

eibachs are hard to get in europe, i order now a set vogtland springs, will see how good they will be.

mammut: (2015-01-29 14:03:59)

now i get them, i was only ordering rear springs because of rear sag

looks good, approx. free length 330mm and wire diamter 13,5mm and coil diameter 120mm

Stand them up side by side with the stock one's and take a picture.

mammut: (2015-02-26 14:48:21)

today

i was going to swap the springs

but now i know why i have rear sag [archived image: biggrin.png] [archived image: biggrin.png]

1) the lower spring seats are missing

2) the bottom of the coil is broken, i never see it before

so i have to buy first the rear spring seats to conteniued

55038-01P00 & 55034-01P20

i did not find them at rockauto.com :/

and the nissan dealer´s in germany can´t order them x)

reddzx: (2015-02-26 16:16:56)

The rear spring seats are NLA. There may be another run of poly seats by Gary Molitor sometime this year.

ZR_Down_Undah: (2015-02-26 20:48:37)

I can get you the rear spring seats. Do you need me to ship to Germany? PM me, and I'll try to get you squared away.

Axel kain: (2015-02-27 14:27:50)

spring seats are not truely required to operate though. can install later.

ZR_Down_Undah: (2015-02-27 22:57:59)

The fronts are out of stock to my knowledge in the USA. A friend of mine grabbed the last one to my knowledge.

The rears are still readily available online.

nismopu: (2015-02-28 06:51:49)

Oh. I have a set of those on my red car. Always wondered who made them. They are very very soft IMO and they do lower the car a bit.

mammut: (2015-03-24 15:57:46)

so i put the new springs in and have to say they are very very good, not so much stif, very sporty but not to hard

sprig rate is good =)

high comparison (distanz between center of rims and wheel arch)

stock 38/38 cm

old springs: 35/ 31cm

with new springs: 35/35 cm
