Anyone know for sure what size the bolts are (diameter and thread pitch) for the main bearing cap/cradle? I need to get some custom bolts (shorter) to bolt my block into the machine in the machine shop so I can put it through the oven and a shot peen.

Looks like a 1.50 thread pitch, but must be an M11 bolt? Any idea? 10mm is too small and 12mm is to large. Weird size that I can't find anywhere, if it is an M11x1.50.

Looks like they are 11x1.50. I found some old Volkswagon Passat 1.8L head bolts that were perfect after I cut them in half! [archived image: wink.png]
