So I'm coming to the end of my build and the last part I need to get is a turbo. I was looking into getting either a precision 5862 with the .82 a/r or a 6262 with the .63 a/r. I'm a little hesitant about the 5862 because it seems like it might be a little small on a 6 cylinder. For those who are running precision turbos, when does yours start spooling and hit full boost on the vg30? Also, any other turbo recommendations to look into such as turbonetics or anything? The precision is at the top of my budget but its doable. My goal is anywhere between 400-500hp.

Precision for the win you can not go wrong with there product. I like the 6262 it is a tried and true turbo. I have no experience with it on a vg tho

The 5862 with .8x a/r should be about perfect for you, the 6262 will get you well over your goals…

Lookup Rick88ss' build, and I believe amreboot as well, or search the site for that turbo, you'll see the kind of power people are putting down, 600+

Yeah actually at second thought, I think you're right, the 5862 would be a good choice. Especially since i really want a fast boost response. So i guess I'm leaning a little bit more towards the 5862.
