Both were used on the W-series 3.0L motors, but I've never found any info that describes the differences between the two head castings other than the 21V being the early W-series head and the 85E being used on later vg30's.

There's no major differences that would set them apart.

If you're running a W-series engine it's beneficial to use the OWO heads given the opportunity.

85e and OWO are the same port shapes the only difference on the OWO are the 10mm exhaust studs.
