So I have an 87 NA auto ECU that has Nistune installed on it and it has an 88 turbo ROM on it. Can I run my low impedence RX7 injectors on it without dropping resistors? I know the 87 NA ECU takes low impedence injectors but an 88 turbo uses high impedence. My car is an 84 turbo

no, gotta have resistors

Ok. I'll probably just put the 87 turbo ROM on it then and use my injectors without dropping resistors

I asked Alex this question. This is what he said "The ECU is still an 87 ECU. The tune doesn't give any bearing on what type of injectors it requires. It's a hardware thing on the ECU.

So you'll still need low impedance injectors."

your correct, i must have read wrong. peak and hold aka low ohm drivers can run both low and high impedance.
