From my understanding the dizzy has four wires.

1 . wire positive (Red)

2. negative (BLK)

3. 360 degree optical output (Green)

4. optical output with 6 slots. One being bigger. (white)

I'm trying to figure out if I can use the optical outputs to communicate TDC to the ECU.

And if they do send out a TDC signal what kind of signal is it?

For example the voltage, wavelength etc of the signal.

Thanks

it can be used and has been with standalones that support it. as far as the voltage etcx, you would have to do the testing yourself. the larger slot in the 6 trigger is tdc. you may find the info you need through megasquirt forums or documents

Thanks. I guess I have to figure out how to test. Time to get technical.
