I'm re-building the diff, putting extra clutches in, etc.
Does anybody have or know where to get nissan special tool KV38105110? This is a rear axle shaft dummy
for measuring break away torque.
Just figured I would ask if anybody has something lying around that I can borrow (yes reward offered) before
I spend(waste) time and money to destroy a half-shaft and machine in the female end of a 1/2" drive…

When I rebuilt my CLSD I made the jig to hold the diff and half shafts. the bar is a 1" steel tube about 3 ft long with the torque wrench attached to it. I think I read about it in the FSM.

I was thinking of something like that as well, except having the internals sitting loosely in the carrier with a halfshaft in the vice and the other on a torque wrench.
Functional but probably not the best way.
I'll figure something out[archived image: smile.png]
