I don't know if they still sell the full louvered one anymore? Even MSA doesn't show it??

I think they are still available, I know MikeP was looking to get one.

See the "Keep it Zenki" thread where we get all horny for that air dam.

I don't listen to MSA for parts availability. They're overpriced and unreliable. Multiple times I've called or emailed them to ask for something, got told it was discontinued by the manufacturer, then called the manufacturer directly and got told it was still available…and proceeded to buy it directly from the manufacturer.
In Kaminari's words, "If its on our website its still available. Everything is made to order"
That air dam will cost you atleast $600 shipped though. Heads up. haha

It's sooo worth it though…

Precisely why I intend to own it sometime this year....after I finish up other stuff. haha

Sometimes those rare "uber" parts are worth it. LOL
Can't wait to install Avante rear spoiler. [archived image: cool.png]

This is like when S13 guys want to buy the OEM Silvia aero bumper then don't because it's $600 for a beat and used one. Then they pay $1000 for the same bodykit everyone else has.
Collect no HJ's.

+1, and good/rare parts are always worth the price.

There is ALWAYS a price to play …
If you want a copy-cat car .. get a Honda, z32, z33, z34, etc …
It's one of the advantages of having a car that ISN'T mass supported by the aftermarket. Goodies can be expensive.

Wow .. I've never had issues with MSA .. they've always treated me good.
As for the Kaminari air dam. That was my point .. the "full louvered" air dam ISN'T on their website.
michaelp: (2014-02-26 21:10:56)
I intend on buying this air dam - but at the same time I almost want to make something custom/one off.

Cut the louvered section out, make the sides of the mouth vertical, and you have something prety damn close to the Paul Newman car.
Don't forget to shave the license plate thing (which nobody here has done before!).

nothing wrong with trying to spend less for a front fiberglass knock off.
i do deal with real namebrand rare parts as shown in my thread but cant see myself spending 600 for a fiberglass valance that might get damage.

Thats cool. More awesome for me. I'm going to be spending ~$600 on a fiberglass air dam/valance that *will* get damage.

I just ordered the louvered front and the matching rear valence and intend on shaving the front plate as well. Should look killer on my 86t. I cant wait.
By the way, the part number for lip kit which includes the front louvered and the matching rear for the 86 300zx is KA30300. It was just over 700 shipped.
