To my knowlege the 50th AE cars had all black interior and the black velvet headliner. My seats are red and i know those are wrong but the headliner in my car is red and looks brand new and so are the handles on the T tops. Someone swapped it out at one point maybe?

Does your headliner look velvet or looks like a newer cars headliner?

Its velvet, I just hear a lot of talk about how common it is for them to deteriorate. Mine looks new.

Give it time.
I redid mine with factory style velvet…not that aftermarket crap.
