People don't sell it anymore. I know I have to use the nut to control idle if this is gone. Are there any other disadvantages?

I have to feather the throttle a little for a minute to keep it going on cold starts on cold days. Lumpy idle when the car's cold. For me, worth it for simplifying the intake plumbing, but it could get old for some people.

Did you buy the block off plate? or did you make it?

I bought the ASCO kit. Includes blockoffs for the idle stuff and the EGR. Basically depends on what your time's worth and how you want it to look. I have money but no machine shop, so I bought the plates.

I tried to find it on ASCOs site and I couldn't, I assumed it was discontinued or something.
