I just got my hands on a 2002 exterra and heard it has a FS5R30A 5 speed trans. I know these were used on a few z31s and are highly regarded as a very strong transmission. Would this swap be worth the effort? I really hate the automatic but I'm not sure if the bell houseing on the FS5R30A for the 3.3 would fit up to my vg30 I've heard the blocks are the same but the age difference of the 2 cars makes me wonder what changes were made. Will the flywheel and driveshaft match up or will I have to mix and match endless parts to find the right ones. Also spedometer and all the fun stuff like mounting the clutch pedal and slave cyl. Has anyone tackled this project sucsessfully that might could shed some light on what I'm in store for if I decide to swap
