Can anybody tell me how to remove the headlight switch? Having headlight problems, they wont turn on sometimes so i want to clean the connectors, but I cannot get the dang thing out! Help please.

Unplug it. Pull the steering column trim and steering wheel off. It should be obvious now, but if not, there are two small screws behind the steering wheel that go through the bit of plastic that holds all the switches to the steering column, and into the switch. The switch then pulls right out. I forget which direction, I think away from the column and towards the door.

Well, that's how my 84 and my 86 are. 87 onwards might be different.

This is still highly relevant! I have been looking for these high level instructions. Thanks!
