NissanXRMA: (2012-01-26 20:22:25)

17" for a zenki

jesus94p: (2012-01-26 20:35:01)

17's

-Strike-: (2012-01-26 20:42:16)

18's on my Shiro, and 15's on the 84'. Rubber for the 18's costs almost 3x the amount then that of the 15's. So, keep that in mind when you're searching.

NissanEgg: (2012-01-26 23:10:58)

You don't put rims on a car. You put wheels on a car. moron!!!!

I'm planning on 17x9 all around, with an et of somewhere between 15-20. Wrapped with 255/40/18's. Probably going to tramline like hell, but whatever, it's not a daily driver.

I'm an H&R dealer. I'll be adjusting it with some hubcentric spacers. I've no interest in rolling fenders, or rubbing tires. And for the record, I hate "stance", stretched tires, and massive amounts of negative camber. I like to drive my cars, and not be afraid of scraping them to pieces, or having only an inch of rear tires actually touching pavement. I'm ok with a touch of battleship, in the interest in driveability.

Stance doesn't work.

I imagine you could fit some 265's onto some 12j's and stuff em under stockish rear fenders 8)

Probably. But it will handle like a complete piglet.

DeleriousZ: (2012-01-27 16:11:35)

Why do you say that Red?

NissanXRMA: (2012-01-27 16:36:18)

To end this, it's because you wrote 255/40/18

18" tire on a 17" wheel.

there.

adamvann3: (2012-02-08 04:08:45)

17x9 as close to +12 to +0 offset. 245/45's or 255/40s

I always thought 5zigen zr+520 looked nice.

jesus94p: (2012-02-08 04:49:07)

DeleriousZ: (2012-02-08 06:13:25)

no, this is flush-ish:

and that's using an 18x9.5 -13 effective

jesus94p: (2012-02-08 06:15:54)

big difference when your lowered :-?

reddzx: (2012-02-08 10:40:07)

Although it's a matter of taste and personal choice, those stretched tires leave your wheels/rims vulnerable to curb scrapes. It's bound to happen sooner or later. Ooh, that's if you actually drive your car for any length of time.

Not true at all. I could drive my car for 1,000 miles or 200,000 miles. I'm not old, so i don't hit curbs. It's not inevitable to hit the barriers on the edge of the road.

my z31 was hit by a Public Transporation Bus on the left quarter, and then hit by a Harley rider on the right corner of the bumper on the same day… I was dead stopped in traffic both times.

front is still good though :-D

first accident covered the cost of the car!

inqui-Z-tor: (2012-08-08 18:21:51)

Rice .. per quick google ..

  • Any car modified superficially to make it appear fast, e.g. stickers from parts not on the car; racing seatbelts, …
  • RICE is "Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancements"
  • A Rice car is used to refer to sports cars of Asian make who have heavily cosmetic modifications and little or no internal modifications.

zzzlow: (2012-08-08 18:55:26)

why care so much what other people want to make their car look like anyways? The burgundy car looks great, a little too much reverse rake for me, but it looks good regardless. and 17x7's??? 17x7's?? ouch. not quite flush yet, even with the 843995504998 mm spacer you must be running to poke them out that far.
