Note: This is not the same as on Jason's site. I had difficulty in accessing Jason's site a while back, so I acquired my own.

I've sent pictures of my car with the 305Z 18" wheels twice now to the site email and they still are not posted on the site.

Just sent an update email again.

Got your email .. and yes, I've been lagging.

LOL ..

It's what happens when I don't get any inputs for over a year .. and then I lose my HD (earlier this year).

but I think I got your z33 wheels posted? I may not have your latest pic .. but I think I got the wheels.

inqui-Z-tor: (2012-03-23 17:58:53)

OK … I think I got all the bugs (and other errors) worked out ..

even reddzx's submissions ..

You know .. I knew you had a staggered set up .. 17s in the front w18s in the back and still typed it in wrong.

My apologies .. thanks for providing the information.

Site updated.

87zxturbo: (2012-03-25 13:33:02)

I will send an email with my 86… :nanan?re Its in my profile LOL....

inqui-Z-tor: (2012-03-25 15:32:31)

{{#if:| wrote:|Quote:}}

Cool … Make sure you send a good photo .. that shows off the wheels.

inqui-Z-tor: (2012-03-25 15:47:33)

ALL CON …

If I've missed your inputs, my apologies. That email has typically gone for months (almost years) without any activity.

I'll check 1x per month. Then 1x per quarter. Then .. 1x every 6 months. If I can pull information from a forum, I will. Aside from entry challenges .. I had a hard disk crash a while back and recovering my FTP programs has taken a bit of time.

My plans are to update 1x per month .. if there is something submitted. (Otherwise .. it'll be back to the "whenever" schedule)

Right now .. I've got 1.5 entries queued .. the 1/2 is an entry awaiting a good photograph (LOL).

weswaz: (2012-07-11 03:46:54)

My first post to the group, so apologies if I should post this elsewhere.

Picked up mom's 87 turbo a few weeks ago (55K original miles). Had been in storage for about 7 years. I'm in the process of cleaning it up and fixing the asythings that don't work. One item that I'm at a loss to find is a hubcap.

The OEM black 16" wheels were replaced with a 15" shiny chrome or polished aluminum version of the OEM wheels. The remaining chrome hubs have the part #40317 21P00. I've been able to find hubs for sale with the same part number in everything but chrome. Thoughts??? I remember being a teenager and it being a big deal when they got these wheels.

Woah! [archived image: redface.png] That Z looks super clean. Post up more pics and put up a member ride thread.

Thanks for the suggestion on setting up a member ride thread. I'll do that.

Still looking for thoughts on a finding a chrome hub… you can see the driver side rear is missing one.

Need more pictures of this car. Im digging it.

badboyz31: (2012-10-30 00:44:35)

XXR 521 18x10 +12 all around

still need to put the 10mm spacer on the rear, roll and possibly pull in the rear. Front just needs more low

Edit: Suspension setup in rear is s13, with stance coils and SPL control arms

Front setup is just stance coils with the camber plates at the top

DeleriousZ: (2012-10-30 05:06:48)

Should mention your suspension setup too, cause on z31 rear suspension that'll sit differently.

done!

adamvann3: (2012-10-31 00:32:12)

Post the pictures and information into this thread, its much more relevant. I am not sure why this one was even stickied.

LA KINGS: (2013-02-09 03:14:33)

Using oem 350z tire specs the 350z Anniversary wheels with +30 offset up front and +33 in the rear will not clear the strut and the center caps wont fit, the tire will still turn but you will see that its rubbing against the strut. However you choose to do it is up to you but you WILL need to space the wheels. Given the wheel still turns the space is very minimal so keep that in mind. You will also need open ended lug nuts if you go with the hubcentric route I chose.

I absolutely reccomend hubcentric adapters over sketchy wheel spacers.

What I used:

Hubcentric wheel adapters that are 1 1/2" thick with 5x114.3 to 5x114.3 and a set of open ended lug nuts. Here are some pictures of the adapters and fitment on stock suspension.

Thanks

Adam (adamvann3) .. Thanks for providing the link.

It's been awhile since I've updated it. I haven't received any "inputs" for a while …

nic'd: (2015-03-07 02:21:44)

Our 85T race car runs:

Ford Racing M-1007-R189 2000 Cobra R 18x9.5 +22

285/30/18 Dunlop Direzza ZIIs front and rear.

Rears just needed longer wheel studs and rolling the fenders.

Fronts are running 13" Cobra brakes on the turbo hubs. ARP 1007708 studs, brake rotor, and a 5mm spacer, fender roll, and the combo cleared everything. I think any taller tire would start rubbing the spring perch.
