Do it!! I just got the friday 26th off work! This will be my first z specifc meet, I just got my car running pretty decent finally. Plus im trying to snag a lip for the 87, they may have damaged ones for cheap that could be fixed!

I wish I could go. Just like Datsun Matsuri this year, it falls right in the middle of a hitch up north and there isn't really anyone to cover for me if I were to take the time off. This is already turning into a lousy year for car shows. :/

Well Friday is the party/hangout day Saturday is the garage sale! Which is what I'm really excited for! I need some new shit! And Sunday is the car show. I've never been but that's the vibe I goT from the website. I'm going all three days.

Old friend of mine used to hit the garage sale very year. Always came home with something for his z31s. Body kit components, interior pieces, etc .. Some years had more stuff than others.
Lots of s30s for sure. I like that! But the time is coming when the event will be dominated by the z33/z34 crowd.

I've entered my stock Z31 twice. I personally recommend the experience, but everyone is different.

Yes. Parking "in" the show .. means you're with other enthusiasts, within the confines of the show and other participants. The fellowship and friendships is worth the price. Besides, if you park off site. Your Z is left relatively un watched, un protected.

My car is torn apart currently with no hopes of making it this weekend. Decided to do a major overhaul few weeks backwith hopes of having it done but its just been taking longer than expected.

The last time I attended MSA .. when it was at MSA .. cars were lining up at 5AM. I know, because at 5AM .. I was 2nd in line. LOL!

I heard voting was to be different .. z31 entrants voting on the z31s (less emphasis on club voting)

Yes, voting was different for pople with cars entered into the show.
If you registered a Z31, you had an automatic vote for yourself in your class. You would then have to vote for two Z31's one in each class, Stock & Modified other than your car.
I ended up taking 1st in Stock Class

I think I like this voting system. In the past, if you rolled in with a club .. it was difficult to break through the club vote.

I think this was the best Z31 turn out since the days at the park. I would say 30 might be a good "guesstimate". There was alot of good examples of Z31s. Everyone brought their "A" game. Congrats to the winners too.

I was running late that morning, sorry Valor. We arrived around 9 am. We were definitely more than 50 cars back. We were in that place in line because cars were already going in. I'm going to aim for an earlier start time next year.
