Air injection valve (1986-1989) ==<br /> <br /> The Air injection valve sends secondary air to the exhaust system just before the catylic converter to aid in removing emissions from the exhaust gases. When the exhaust pressure is below atmospheric pressure (negative Pressure), the secondary air is sent to the exhaust. When Pressure is above atmospheric pressure, the reed valve in the AIV unit prevents gasses to be sent back to the intake tube.<br /> <br /> &#039;&#039;WARNING&#039;&#039; - Do this modification at your own risk.
