The wire on your Z is just a mini version of it.<br />
<br />
make sure when you crimp the spade terminal on the end you only make contact with the center wire.<br />
<br />
If you make contact with the shielding it will just ground out the sensor and never read any kind of knock.<br />

Okay, since it takes me so long to get around to doing stuff I have figured out that it is NOT the knock sensor; there is an intact plug in the same strand of the harness about 1.5ft rearward that plugs into the knock sensor… any other thoughts?</div>z31p_Utjon
