When I changed my 84, 5speed, NA to an 87 ECU to solve cold start problems I ended up with a Federal and a California ECU's in other words two of them. I cannot tell the difference in the way the car runs. I did this back when the car had to pass Texas emissions inspection and both ECU's passed.</div>z31p_Revolt911
