i would like to know if its a bad idea to use a new disc with a used pressure plate.

I have an act street clutch HD that just started slipping.

im not looking to buy a new clutch, just need it to make a few more months until i do my engine swap, while taking 400 foot pounds torque.

----
'''Maxim0018:''' (2014-03-13 01:40:45)

I would slide it on without resurfacing the pressure plate. Would you run a new clutch without resurfacing a used flywheel?

----
'''onefast87:''' (2014-03-13 18:53:30)

I was not concerned about the flywheel, its a fidanza with low kilometers, just wanted to know if its a bad idea
