{{ImportedFrom|site=Xenonzcar|title=The 1990-1999 Nissan Fairlady Z Z32|url=https://dev.z31library.com/xenonzcar_archive/z32.html|archive=https://dev.z31library.com/xenonzcar_archive/z32.html|fetched=2026-05-15}} In 1989 Nissan replaced the Z31 chassis with the Z32. Production of the naturally aspirated versions began in the Spring, followed by the twin-turbo in the Fall. The Z32 was also titled 300ZX because engine displacement remained unchanged. However, since the engine had dual overhead cams, the engine code was revised to VG30DE. The twin-turbo model had the VG30DETT engine. === Style and Evolution === The Z32 chassis would likewise undergo several changes throughout its production run between 1989 and 2000. Among the milestone safety additions are the inclusion of standard driver and passenger-side airbags and true pillar-mount seat belts. The Z32's extended model year sales in 1990 reached 39,290 units. https://dev.z31library.com/xenonzcar_archive/z32/images/cutawayred.jpg === Z32 Basics === Here you will find the most basic of Z32 information * [https://dev.z31library.com/xenonzcar_archive/z32/basicterms.html Basic Terms used for the Z32] * [https://dev.z31library.com/xenonzcar_archive/z32/buyerguide.html 300ZX Buyerโs Guide] * [https://dev.z31library.com/xenonzcar_archive/z32/colorchart.html Color Chart] * Deciphering your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)and other Model ID Plates - Coming soon * Differential Specifications and Variations- Coming soon * Drive Shaft Specifications and Differences * ECU Differences - Coming soon * Fuse and Relay Locations - Coming soon * General Z32 Specifications< - Coming soon/li> * General Z32 History - Coming soon * Interior Differences - Coming soon * Light Bulb Replacement Guide - Coming soon * Model Variations - Coming soon * Sensor Information - Coming soon * Transmission Specs and General info - Coming soon * Engine Specifications - Coming soon * Wheel Specifications - Coming soon * Bleeding Your Brakes - Coming soon [https://dev.z31library.com/xenonzcar_archive/z32/ATcodes.php Checking Automatic Transmission Fault Codes] * Checking ECU Fault Codes - Coming soon * Dashboard Removal - Coming soon * Leather Seat Softening/Cleaning - Coming soon [https://dev.z31library.com/xenonzcar_archive/Plugs.html Reading Your Spark Plugs] * Replacing Your Fuel Filter - Coming soon * Strut Replacement and Front Suspension Overhaul - Coming soon * Testing the Automatic Climate Control Unit - Coming soon * Wheel Stud Replacement - Coming soon === Modifications === === Reference === [[Z32/fsm php|Factory Service Manuals]] * Nissan Product Bulletins - Coming Soon [[Category:Imported from Xenonzcar]]
