just notice some rust around the windshield, which means itÃ¢â¬â¢s probably spreading underneath since its bubbling…life sucks, anyway, I wanted to know what the cost is to fix that, and reseal it. Also the molding is coming off. Looks like the clips broke anyone have an estimate? Anyone have this problem that can chime id really appreciate it!

A new windsheild will cost about $200. Taking the Z to a body shop to have the rust taken care of will, of course, add more $$$ to the pricetag. The windsheild replacement companies usually don't take care of rust, nor will they install a windshield on a rusty frame.

i had the same problem.. i pulled the glass out at my shop.. then i cleaned the rust out.. luckily it was just surface rust, no rot.. i primed the edge with some etching primer, put on a motorcycle helmet and drove the car to a glass place.... i cant remember why i didnt call a mobile glass guy..
