{{ForumImport |op_user=bacon |op_date=2018-10-09 14:38:50 |post_count=1 |archive_url=/Z31performance_archive/forum/z31-repairs-forums/driveline/541335-another-torque-converter-question.html }} '''bacon:''' (2018-10-09 14:38:50) I have an 88T with AT. The trans failed so I had an 86 non-turbo trans installed. The trans seemed to work ok, but I was experiencing torque converter shudder so I bought a used NT torque converter on Ebay and installed it. The shudder is gone, and it shifts fine, but now the car lurches on acceleration from about 55 mph when in OD. It does not do it at lower speeds, nor does it do it at any speed with the OD turned off. Could a bad TC cause that?
