Do I have to use Turbo Front Tubes or can I use N/A Tubes for the weld? I measured the STANCE inside dia. at the bottom part of the Tubes and its 51.8 mm. The Turbo tubes at the bottom, where they are shot peaned at the hub are 51 mm. (my measurment may be off by a couple of 0.2 mm, but close. I will retake them in the day. So, what are the N/A? will they work, or do i need to cut my Turbo Tubes?

The cast portion of the spindle seems to have the same ID so all the tubes have an equal lower section, you can see there's a small ridge on the strut tube about 5mm up, it's not much thicker than paper, but you have to sand/file that down too if you want to slip the stance weld-on sleeve over it

Also While you're in there, I suggest drillinga 1/2" hole in the bottom where the strut tube was, to send the coilover adjuster cable through if you go low, then you can use my roll center adjusters with the open back to access it [archived image: smile.png]

Also I'd drill and tap the little centering hole on the cast part, so you can bolt on a metal bracket to hold the adjuster cable, so it doesn't get ripped off when your tie-wrap breaks like mike's did…

I'm planning on using the old brake line locator tab and weld in on to the Stance tubes. This way, I get the stock location of the brake lines ( I going to get custom steel braded line to fit), I have Artwork's adjustable bump steer spacers. I saw yours, looks good too. About the adjustable cable? you have a picture. I think I know what you mean, but a picture is a 1000 words....

The Stance tubes have a slot about 1.5 inches long. I'm assuming that what its for.

I'm also planning on reinforcing the tension rod bracket with some webbing on the inside and getting the adjustable tension rods for castor control from ASCO.

The only adjustable tension rods available are from stance/tougefactory right now, they use 84-87 style bracket fyi

The stance sleeves do indeed have a slot, but many people have found that the slot is too high up to go very low with the coilover, the adjuster cable just can't bend that sharply… in those cases, going through the bottom makes more sense

I've more than tucked tires without issues with the slot.
