I'm wanting to build my engine pistons and rod and crankshaft wise. I've never attempted to do this type of work so I'm a bit nervous but non the less I am determined. I'm just wondering if you guys have any tips or pointers to do this. I'll be building it in about 5-6 months after I've done my research and practice on spare engines. But once again I've never done this or even started research so I have no clue what to do so tips is helpful. Thanks in advance

You won't be able to do any of the serious modifications yourself, so you should focus on getting a piston/pin/ring kit, and possibly refreshing the main and rod bearings… use the fsm and a plastigauge to figure out what you need to do

The rods and crank are not the weak point, but you will likely want to get some quality rod studs by arp
