{{ForumImport |op_user=Careless |op_date=2011-11-13 04:12:12 |post_count=4 |archive_url=/Z31performance_archive/forum/z31-performance-upgrade-forums/engine-management/16094-air-reg-and-iacv-hoses.html }} '''Careless:''' (2011-11-13 04:12:12) So i'm having two bungs welded to my intake hard pipe this week to finish this shit up⦠one for the IACV/FICD on the driver side of the intake manifold. one for the Air Regulator on the passenger side of the intake manifold. I find my car likes these in our changing climates, so I choose to keep them. My question is⦠If i just weld one bung, and then just split it to the other, wouldn't that have the same effect- or do they need all the air they can get from these 5/8th's hoses they use? Would having one go to the AIR reg, and then Teeing off with a fitting into the FICD be such an issue? I don't see why not, but I figured I'd ask if anyone had issues with them. (yes, I'm keeping them. no, I don't care if you "don't need them"). ---- '''gardner86zx:''' (2011-11-13 19:55:33) one will be fine. That is all i have had on mine. ---- '''Careless:''' (2011-11-13 19:58:00) thnx. should make this a lot cleaner/easier/less costly as well. ---- '''Kutakino:''' (2011-11-17 05:35:34) I've got the idle controls and air regulator tee'd off from one source as well, works just like it used to with the stock charge pipe.
