=== Voice Warning System === The 300ZX came with a Voice Warning System, nicknamed "Bitchin Betty". This system provides warnings for five conditions: * Left door is open * Right door is open * Lights are on * Fuel level is low * Parking brake is on The Voice Warning System was only available in the 1984β1986 GL and GLL models. Base (SF) models and all 1987β1989 Z31s did not have this feature. The system works by interrupting the signal going to the front left speaker and replacing it with the voice warning. The signal is generated by the Voice Warning Module located above and behind the ECU in the passenger kick panel (often covered by insulation). The system uses only the left front speaker, and no amplifier or radio is required for it to function. Most people lose this function after rewiring the front speakers for a new head unit.
