== Z31 Idle Air Control Wiring for the NA to Turbo Swap == Ok for those of you who have done the N/A to Turbo Swap on your Z31, Here is how to wire the idle controls for proper operation. ==== Items needed ==== * 2 female spade connectors * Razor knife * Crimper or pliers * Extra wire (if needed) ==== Process ==== - Locate the 4-pin connector on the N/A harness that went to the N/A idle controls (on the intake plenum, driver side). * Remove the N/A connector by unhooking the wires inside the connector. Plug these wires into the new turbo connector (use a small pick to lift the tab and release each wire terminal). * Only reconnect the two wires for the idle up solenoid. - The other two wires (black and blue) are for the idle control device: * Black wire: Connects to the "up and down |" pin * Blue wire: Connects to the "side to side -" pin === Sources Used === [[Z31/z31fsm php|1984-1988 Nissan 300ZX Factory Service Manual]] * Written By: Hendrick301 [[Category:Imported from Xenonzcar]]
